When I initially set the table we had a bit of sunshine (so welcomed after so many grey, snowy days) I really liked the crystal candle holders on the table for the way the light reflected off of them. My husband enjoyed his special tea so much that we're going to try our best to do this more often; a mini version of this, a chance to take a break from schedules and the normal day to day "to do" lists. Have a great day today and an even better tomorrow.

Having tea even in a mug is a lovely tradition to start. Your table was perfectly set.
Hope to see you soon at Teapots and Tea Things Tuesday.

what a lovely tea and idea. Every evening we have a cup of tea and I have china mugs for the tea. It has to be china and the mug makes it easier for the mens thumbs. Lovely dishes, what was the pattern of the plates? and the teapot was also gorgeous, is it the same pattern? So enjoyed your blog, going to look at more of yours
