I've had this warp on my loom for months. So satisfying to enjoy my tea and cookie while weaving off these two very large bath towels. Can't wait to use them.
Weave structure is Turned Spot Bronson - Organic Cotton Warp
This is the second towel in progress. It only took a couple of hours to weave the first one...This weave structure moves along quickly. I don't know why I let this sit unwoven for so long...Well, that's not exactly true, I do know why -- I've been distracted by other projects.
When these are taken off the loom and washed, the lacey spots that you see will close up and the towels will have a nice nubby texture to them. The magic happens in the water.
I've also been spending time in my garden. My peonies are blooming and I have lots of daisies.
I love these. I'm trying to decide if I want to plant them out in the garden or leave them in pots. I'm leaning toward potting them all, that way I can keep them tidy and enjoy them on the deck.
I hope you're also having a creative and enjoyable week. Thanks for visiting me today. Many blessings to you for the days ahead.

Oh my ~ I so admire you for the art of weaving. If only I was talented in that area. I knit and crochet but that's it. Your peonies are absolutely gorgeous. I love them ~ have a great week ;-)
I love all of your pretty flowers from this post and previous. Your towels will be pretty when you get them done. I have several projects going at once. I need to get some of them finished. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.
It must be wonderful to weave your own fabric! It looks marvelous - can't wait to see the finished product!
I adore Peonies - mine have come and gone - enjoy seeing yours,
Kathy
This is my first visit to your beautiful blog. I love your Peonies. They are beautiful. I understand fully about multiple projects. It seems I'm not happy unless I am multi-tasking with the weaving, spinning and knitting.
I am falling off of my chair over your weaving! It is so beautiful on the loom. I'm amazed that it can progress so fast. I'm looking forard to seeing the final incarnation! Peonies are pure luxury in my neighborhood. They have to come from the florist! LOVE yours!
Good Morning
I am like you...many projects on the go and I too feel guilty when I have something unfinished and I want to move on and try something new! Its pretty exciting isn't it but one must finish.... *s*.
I have always wanted to be able to use a loom...and make something pretty on it. Now how did you get started and where did you get your loom? It looks beautiful and I can't wait to see them finished.
YOur peonies are lovely too. I love peonies and hydrangeas and we plan to do some new plantings this weekend.
Have a wonderful day
Judi
