Tea and Bird Watching

Just a few days ago it was cloudy, snowy, and wintery.  The bird feeders had not been filled yet and all my feathered friends were left to fend for themselves and find cover within the conifers.  Must change that!

Conditions are much better for them today.  The feeders are filled, they're happy, and so are we as we watch them while enjoying tea and scones.

Now, instead of the lemon curd, I have lemon glaze on mine, since becoming vegan, butter is not an option.

"I can see you, can you see me?  The little chickadee on the left blends nicely into the brush.  The cardinal takes center stage.  The beauty of nature.

Have a great week.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Vee, I love your pictures today and the previous post. Our snow is melting, but we still have some to go. Of course, when it melts and refreezes we have ice. I am a lot like you with having many projects going at once. I am in hopes that 2013 will be a much better year. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

It is a good thing...sitting by the window and watching the birds. Thanks for stopping by to see my creation and I know what you mean about not enough time to do all the wonderful things.
Blessings ;-)

How beautiful. I am trying to appreciate this cold weather, but it is hard. I am missing the green and days in the garden!

Okay, one of my New Years resolutions is taking the time to leave more notes for my blogging friends! I always read posts in a reader and it makes it hard to leave a comment or two. But I do not miss a post! Love seeing the things you share and your lovely home. I wish I had more time to blog, but I work part time at our local library. I wanted to share with you my new blog, just opened this week.... http://www.brookekroeger.blogspot.com.... it will be for my vingage and digital work... including printables you might enjoy. I also have my home and garden site, http://www.creativecountrymom.blogspot.com. This week I am doing a look back to my spring garden.

Hope to be able to connect more in this new year. I am spending less time on Facebook and gave up twitter and everything else. A girl needs time to create, decorate and GARDEN ya know!

God bless....Brooke

Oh, these are lovely pictures of the birds! It's hard for me to get a good shot of the birds - they always seem to fly away. The red cardinal is just beautiful, and I love the snow around your area.
